NAT Conferences will be held biannually in odd-numbered years, alternating with the Neuroergonomics Conferences in the even-numbered years. The conferences are based around the theme of Neuroadaptive Technology where measures of the brain and CNS are used for closed-loop control. Our aim is to bring together researchers from applied neurosciences, engineering and computer science to explore the emergence of this nascent technology. We would also like to discuss secondary issues related to privacy and ethics associated with neuroadaptive technology. The range of relevant topics includes: passive BCI, physiological computing, affective computing, robotics, neurofeedback, autonomous technology, gaming, wearable sensors, HCI evaluation and neuroethics.
