  On September 3 – 7, 2012 an international conference on differential, difference equations and special functions (ICDDESF, in short) will be held in Patras, Greece, at the Conference and Cultural Hall of the University of Patras. The conference is dedicated to the memory of Professor Panayiotis D. Siafarikas, who left so early in 2010. The main aim of the conference is to bring together experts working in all areas (including numerical investigations and applications) of differential equations, difference equations and special functions and to promote the research in these areas.
