  This year, the Congress gathered more than 20,000 delegates over five days to witness more than 420 scientific and educational sessions featuring cutting-edge clinical and scientific presentations in the vibrant city of Madrid. Joining us at this year’s event was a diverse mix of world-leading respiratory scientists, clinicians, allied healthcare professionals, alongside industry representatives, partnered national societies and international press from all over the world. As in previous years, we are grateful for the essential input and involvement of patients and patient organisations, facilitated by the European Lung Foundation. This element is very important to our Congress, as improving patient quality of life through enhanced care and treatment is at the core of our overall mission.
