  This conference aims to create a platform for the exchange of practical and theoretical approaches for scholars from different fields of research (genetics, archaeozoology, archaeology, ethnoarchaeology, ethnography, anthropology, folklore and ethnomusicology) in order to reach a real interdisciplinary perspective on the history of dogs which will be pivotal for the future of research in this field.
