The International Conference on Coherent and Nonlinear Optics (ICONO 1995) will be held on June 27 - July 01, 1995, in St. Petersburg, Russia. The series of ICONO meetings was initiated in 1965 in Belarus as a First USSR Symposium on Nonlinear Optics. Among organizers was by now late worldknown pioneer in nonlinear optics Rem Khokhlov. Within 30 next years, ICONO became the largest conference in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe in the field of nonlinear and quantum optics, laser physics, and fundamental laser spectroscopy of atoms, molecules, and condensed matter. ICONO 1995 continues a tradition of these high-quality meetings. It provides an international forum to present the latest basic and applied research in the related fields.
