The 5th GEOBIA conference is hosted by the Laboratory of Forest Management and Remote Sensing, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Interbalkan Environment Center. The conference addressed advancements, trends and challenges, related to the theory and concepts, methods and algorithms as well as innovative applications of Geographic Object-Based Image Analysis. GEOBIA has incorporated and further upgraded established concepts in remote sensing and interrelated spatial sciences.
