  Professor Olga Leonova, Deputy Dean and Deputy Chairman of Globalistics Chair and UNESCO Chair, Department of Global Studies of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow is visiting from October 1-5, 2016 Department of Gandhian and Peace Studies regarding representing the Lomonosov Moscow State University and the UNESCO chair and the establishment of a Network Section of the UNESCO Chair on “Global Peace and Non Violence” at Department of Gandhian and Peace Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh (INDIA). And on 4th October, the department is holding special lectures of her with regard to set national, regional and international instruments in order to disseminate and exchange the results of research in the fields related to global problems and emerging social and ethical challenges, such as web portal, distant education, information and communication facilities, intellectual and expert associations, conferences and publications. The proposed topics are: 1. The conditions of transformation of the BRICS in the center of influence in the global world. 2. The challenges facing BRICS in the contemporary international situation. 3. Practical advice, strategy and tactics of further actions. 4. The impact of the resources and factors of influence of the BRICS in the global world. 5. Goals and interests of the BRICS countries: common goals and different interests.
