The "2025 Asian Polyolefin Workshop and Petrochemical Industry Conference" (2025 APO & CPCDT Conference) will be jointly organized from March 21st to 25th, 2025 in Chengdu of China on the bases of "2025 Asian Polyolefin Workshop" (APO2025) and the "2025 Petrochemical and Downstream Industry Technology Conference" (CPCDT2025), being co-hosted by the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the China National Chemical Information Center. Biennial "Asian Polyolefin Workshop", initiated in 2005 with scientists from trilateral China-Japan-Korea for Asian as well as global institutions, has been civilly organized in promoting science and technology of polyolefins. Previous workshops were successively located at Nara (Japan), Hangzhou (China), Seoul (Korea), Bangkok (Thailand), Beijing (China), Tokyo (Japan), Tianjin (China), Hiroshima (Japan), Bangkok (Thailand, online), and Nara (Japan). Annual "Chemical and Downstream Industry Technology Conference" by the China National Chemical Information Center has successively been organized in ten-years to exchange information of developing techniques and equipment used in petrochemical industry and downstream fields; the national conference has also attracted experts from worldwide. The jointing 2025 APO & CPCDT Conference will gather scientists to provide the newly R&D developments and cutting-edge technologies in polyolefin, petrochemical and its fields from academic, industrial and equipment providers. Therefore, the following topics will be focused: Design and development of polyolefin catalysts Advanced and novel polyolefin materials Structure analysis and performance of polyolefins Polymerization processes and parameter control Polyolefin recycling and reuse Technological routes for the transformation and upgrading of the petrochemical industry Introduction of green and low-carbon petrochemical technologies New directions for the comprehensive utilization of light hydrocarbons Advanced technologies in the new petrochemical materials sector Innovative processes and technical solutions in the petrochemical and downstream industry chain Comprehensive utilization technologies for C2/C3/C4/C5/C9 hydrocarbons
