  This workshop celebrates the multidisciplinary legacy of D’Arcy Thompson’s pioneering book, which was published 100 years ago this year. Our workshop include participants with a wide range of backgrounds—from history/philosophy to mathematics to biology to arts and architecture—and will take place from Oct 23 to 26, 2017 at the Lorentz Center in Leiden, the Netherlands (www.lorentzcenter.nl), with a special closing event at the Institute for Advanced Studies of the University of Amsterdam (IAS-UvA, http://ias.uva.nl). It is jointly organised by the IAS-UvA and the Konrad Lorenz Institute for Evolution and Cognition Research (KLI) in Klosterneuburg near Vienna (www.kli.ac.at).
