Workshop taken place at the A.N. Nesmeyanov Institute of Organoelement Compounds of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow, Russia) on Sept 22-25, 2013. Scientific program of the ISPO-2013 will include following topics: 1. Recent advances in the design of organosilicon polymers (silicon-containing dendrimers, hyperbranched polymers, brushes, etc) 2. Interaction of silicon polymers with surfaces, superhydrophobicity and superoleophobicity 3. Environmental concerns: recycling and reuse of organosilicon polymers, biocompatible 4. Preparation and properties of new materials based on organosilicon polymers and hybrid systems 5. Towards new applications of organosilicon polymers
