The polarization-orientation sensitive photocurrent in silver-palladium (Ag/Pd) nanocomposite films induced by pulse laser radiation was studied. The photocurrent was measured in two directions: perpendicular (transverse photocurrent) and parallel (longitudinal photocurrent) to incidence plane. We showed that any photo-induced current is a linear function of the incident beam power. The longitudinal photocurrent contains constant contribution and does not depend on polarization. The transverse photocurrent consists of linear and circular contributions. The photocurrent can be induced in a wide spectral range from ultraviolet to infrared radiation. The photocurrent origin in Ag/Pd nanocomposite films is suggested to be photon drag effect. The phenomenological theory was developed. An experimental approach for the direct measurement of the circular contribution has been developed.
