The development of large coercive field (large HC) magnetic ferrites is a very important but challenging issue to accelerate the spread of use and to expand practical applications. Recently, we shown the second type of ferrites with giant (>20 kOe) coercivity at room temperature. These materials have magnetoplumbite structure with common chemical formula MFe12O19 and can be very simple synthesized. However, some questions, inter alia, how M2+ substitution and ambient affect their magnetic properties are still open. Herein we re port study of coupli ng between i ntrins ic properties s uch as magnetocrystalline anis otropy and lattice shirking (because of chemical pressure and temperature) of Ca-Al double substituted strontium hexaferrites with record high coercivity and FMR frequencies among ferrities.
