Аннотация доклада:
Collection of D.G. Rokhlin is one of the biggest paleopathological collections in Russia, was established in the mid-twentieth century. It contains over 900 of different units of storage – separate bones and whole skeletons from the Bronze age to modern times with various anomalies and pathologies. Big part of the collection was exhibited in the Museum of the Medical Institute of St. Petersburg, but in 1990s it was packed and deposited to Kunstkamera. During re-examination of the collection, we can clarify the diagnosis of D.G. Rokhlin, using modern methods and techniques. Research Institute and Museum of Anthropology (RIMA), Lomonosov Moscow State University has a big collection of different paleopathological samples, which is constantly updates.
