We present results of preparation and study of Langmuir monolayers and LB films of a two types of functional amine-containing compounds and novel planar composite nanosystems on the base of complexes formed by amphiphilic polyamine, magnetite nanoparticles and DNA molecules. Amphiphilic polyamine stearylspermine was synthesized and characterized by FTIR spectroscopy technique. It was found that Langmuir monolayer on an aqueous subphase surface can be formed by the synthesized stearylspermine molecules. The stearylspermine Langmuir monolayer compression isotherm changes caused by interaction of monolayer with colloid magnetite nanoparticles and DNA molecules from the aqueous phase have been studied. The observed characteristic changes in Langmuir monolayer compression isotherms indicated to the binding of nanoparticles and polyanions with cationic monolayer. The planar nanostructures on the surface of mica substrate - corresponding monolayer LB films of complexes formed by stearylspermine, magnetite nanoparticles and DNA molecules were deposited and studied. The structure of formed monolayer films was investigated using AFM scanning probe technique. The possibilities for formation of polycomplexes which comprise stearylspermine molecules, functional inorganic nanoparticles and polymers are discussed. The Langmuir monolayers and deposited LB films of the other type of functional amine-containing compounds which are pH-sensitive synthetic lipids have been also studied. In our work the pH-sensitive lipid trans-4,5,didodecyloxycarbonyl- trans-2-morpholinocyclohexanol was synthesized and studied. We have found the substantial changes of the Langmuir monolayer compression isotherm shape of that lipid caused by the change in aqueous subphase pH value from 7.5 to 5. Those changes can be the result of pH-induced conformational changes in the pH-sensitive lipid molecule. Corresponding monolayer LB films were deposited on mica substrate and studied using AFM technique. The various pH-dependent structural features including surface micelles were observed in the LB films deposited at various pH subphase values. The investigated functional amine-containing compounds can be useful for creation of liposomal nanofilm vesicles and capsules perspective for development of novel efficient means for capsulation, targeted transport, controlled spatial localization and stimuli-addressed delivery of various compounds in aqueous media for biomedical controlled drug delivery and other applications.
