The University Philological education curriculum incorporates British Cultural Studies as one of the most topical courses.The course concentrates on the subject of everyday human experience: family life, food and drink; house and home, the colour world we livein,etc. The linguistic, historical, sociocultural and literary data are categorised in order to promote a student's own Cultural Activator: words, phraseology, contexts of use, cross-cultural references in British/American/Russian
