Barrier function of urban habitat is the integral property of the transport-communication city system, which is that barrier objects requires different difficulty of crossing and rounding of the automobile transport. Transport-communication city system includes the street-and-road network with their rights of ways (contact-barrier objects) and the territories without any crossing public roads (barrier objects). The contact-barrier objects have their own developed connections. The difficulty of crossing is defined by the barrier object measurements, the numbers of crossing objects and the numbers of lanes of the crossing objects. The difficulty of rounding is defined by the square of the rounded outline (which is the polygon square inside the outline, which located around the barrier object). Outline may be located inside the city boundaries, partly outside; sometimes outline cannot be rounded. For defining of the resulting automobile transport barrier coefficient of the contact-barrier object, I would like to use next indicators: length and width of the barrier, the number of barrier-crossing objects and their lanes of crossing objects, the square of rounded outline. I would apply a linear scaling for the parameters of the ideal object according to the indicators; it is possible to obtain the final automobile transport barrier coefficient for each element of the road network. Ideal contact-barrier object is the road with the value of barrier effect equal one, the length equal one kilometer, the width equal six meters, with ten barrier-crossing objects and ten crossing lanes, with the square of rounded outline equal two square kilometers.
