We present some materials on poorly studied interesting Cretaceous-Recent volcanic and often cogenetic plutonic rocks in an extremely interesting and important region incl. West Baluchestan, East Iran and south Tajikistan. They were received by our group led by outstanding geo-trio - famous geologists Drs. E. Romanko, A. Houshmandzadeh and M.A.A. Nogol Sadat. Some important features on the Neogene intraplate African superplume-related subalkaline-alkaline rocks are as follows: mainly K-Na subalkaline rock affinity (also alkaline one too) with a middle K, not very High-Ti, not high, deep 87Sr/86Sr (ISr) = 0.7039?0.2 (trachyandesite r70) and 0.70489?0.18 (trachybasalt r71) alongside 0.7049 on a ‘volcanite’ by Camp, Griffis, 1982; LREE-enrichment with a high LREE/HREE (La more than 40 ppm), characteristical Eu/Eu* more than 1.1; up to high – 1/3 of CaO and up to a high - 0.45% of Sr in basic trachyandesites (meaning real carbonatites ca 200 km to the east, Hanne shin, Afghanistan), complex correlation of some characteristical elements; then-High-Ti (rhutile, Ti-hornblende) and High-Ca phases (clinozoisite, Ca-rich zeolite?), replacement of primary minerals due to a fairly strong rock-fluid interaction. Interesting Carbonatite (-alkaline rocks) – gas hydrate correlation is revealed in other regions, ex, India (Ramasamy et al., 2009). Some features on strongly dominated subduction-related calc-alkaline volcanic-plutonic rocks are: ISr= 0.70456?0.05 (Quaternary? basic andesite r22, Bazman volcano), mainly K-Na affinity, middle K, low Ti, LREE-enrichment (La less than 35), and a moderate Eu-deficit; lower trace elements content versus intraplate rocks mentioned, usual Ca and Sr, good mineralogy-rock chemistry correlation; fairly fresh color minerals, no strong mineral replacement. NE tectonic-magmatic-metallogenic (important regional Cu-Au deposits; also Cu-Ni-Co, Cr Cretaceous ophiolite-related deposits; Pb, Zn, Mo, mainly non-rich Ag, PGE, As, Hg, Bi, S, Si etc.) zonation, related to the famous subduction of Arabian plate exists - calc-alkaline-1 –intraplate-2: 1: Eocene shoshonites – Paleocene-Oligocene calc-alkaline intrusives - Miocene-Recent calc-alkaline volcanic-plutonic rocks and 2: Paleogene? (Lut block)-Neogene subalkaline rocks - Quaternary Afghanistan carbonatites etc. Alpine compression in the Central Iran on the moderate subductional depths up to 200 km (Trubitsyn, 2004 etc.), at least, partly compensated by contemporaneous or younger, Pg?-N-Q extensional intraplate magmatism of eastern Middle East. A satisfactory magmatic-tectonic-metallogenic+-HC correlation was revealed in the region studied. Some important points are as follows: -1/ a satisfactory correlation tectonics – earth quakes exists -2/ induced seismicity due to HC works was revealed in north Persian Gulf (Jalali et al., 2007 etc.) -3/ strike-slip faults relate to Hi-quakes often, ex. Western Pamir etc. -4/ no African superplume-seismicity relation known despite superplume - magma correlation (ex., regional intraplate magmatism), HC decreasing to the north (from Saudi Arabia to N. Caspian Sea and further) etc. -5/ a good/satisfactory magmatic – tectonic – metallogenic – HC (oil) correlation was revealed in the region studied. We are so grateful to much known outstanding regional geo-trio - Drs. E. Romanko†, A. Houshmandzadeh, and M.A.A. Nogole Sadat; also to M. Hosseini, S. M. Tabatabaeimanesh, M. Ziaii, H. Bagheri, M. Heidari, and many others regional and non-regional specialists Keywords: tectonics, magmatism, metallogeny, oil - hydrocarbons, general seismicity etc.
