Fauna of Aloninae cladocerans of Mainland South-East Asia is reevaluated. Like Cladocera in general, Aloninae are relatively well-studied for Thailand and Malaysia, the data for Vietnam and Cambodia is fragmentary, there are no publications on fauna of Myanmar and Laos. Presently, at least 37 species of Aloninae are recorded from the area. Detailed taxonomical studies clarified status of many species, but still, identity of many taxa is unclear. The fauna includes 11 Paleotropical species, 2 Australasian species, 13 Oriental species (6 of them are recorded from Mainland Southeast Asia only), and 10 Palearctic and “cosmopolite” species. The latter group especially needs revision, such taxa are frequently revealed to be tropical siblings-species to the Palearctic taxa. Several new species - Leydigiopsis sp., Karualona sp., and Alona sp. were recently found in the area, but are not yet described.
