The samples of oral discourse used in French as a foreign language textbooks have two main drawbacks: they are either obtained by reading out written texts or stripped of their specific oral discourse features at the stage of writing down and further processing. The existing spoken language corpora (PFC, IPFC, ESLO, OFROM, CFPP2000, etc.) provide particularly rich data for analyzing the specific features of oral discourse, however, their use for teaching French at a threshold level is only possible after an additional selection and a laborious adaptation. This article considers the methods of creating a corpus of spoken texts for the purpose of teaching discursive techniques at B1 and B2 levels of the CEFR, as well as the basic principles of the orthographic transcription of those oral texts and the ways of adapting them for effective exercises.
