Possibility of generation of observable soft X-rays, 0.1-1 keV photons, in comets due to production of short-living hot plasma blobs at high-velocity collisions between cometary and interplanetary /zodiacal dust particles, by (d-d) process, was theoretically shown (Ibadov S.,Icarus, 86, 283-288, 1990). These results was used as motivation for observations of comet Hyakutake 1996 B2 with orbital space telescope ROSAT in March 27, 1996 and making the discovery of X-ray radiation from comets.
