In this paper the synthesis of microporous carbon sorbent from individual organic compounds (phenol,hydroquinone and furfurol) in excess of alkali is presented. The process takes place at a temperature of 700 0C in atmosphere of flue gases. During synthesis of microporous carbon material possessing the BET specific area up to 3200 m2/g-1 and total volume of porous about 1,62 cm3/g-1 was prepared. The material can find engineering application such as rechargeable lithium-ion cells, fuel cells, supercapacitors(ionistors) e t c.
