Scalar airborne gravimetry is a well established approach for gravity vertical component determination. Vector airborne gravimetry requires very accurate alignment of vertical, is badly ill-conditioned yielding the standard in-trajectory Kalman filtering approach very unstable. An appropriate gravity model is of high necessity. The paper aims to investigate airborne vector gravimetry using strapdown inertial navigation system and GPS data integration of high degree. Gravity anomaly is represented by means of a harmonic spherical wavelet transform. The problem we consider is to estimate gravity scalingcoefficients in an area and INS errors using the data from a whole flight. Information Kalman filtering is applied. Numerical results obtained from synthetic data are discussed.
