Аннотация доклада:
The influences of APC on the thrombin-induced re-activation of astrocytes are a focus for our research. Using confocal microscopy, Western blot methods and MTT-assay of the cultured astrocytes at Th-induced toxicity and pretreatment with APC in comparison with Th was investigated. Pretreatment with APC (1nM) prevented Th-induced astrocytic proliferation. APC has no only neuroprotective effects but also can prevent the activation of astrocytes and astrogliosis during pathological condition. Our results demonstrate new aspects of APC as a protective agent for brain at trauma and neuropathology.
