East Siberian Sea basin is placed between New Siberian Islands Archipelago on the West and Wrangel island on the East. It was formed in Late Jurassic-Cretaceous time as part of general opening of the Canada Basin Reconstruction of basin’s tectonic history and seismic data interpretation shows that Proterozoic sequences could be included into basin’s list of potential source rocks and reservoirs Large erosionaly truncated traps in East Siberian Sea Basin could be connected with fact, that basin was eroded by two large regional unconformities: in base of Lower Cretaceous (LCU) and in base of Cenozoic (mBU) Combination of early Brookian orogeny and Cretaceous rifting caused regional reconstruction of basin’s structure Results of HC modeling show that main reservoirs are Cretaceous. Jurassic- Lower Cretaceous regional erosion could cause migration from Triassic an and Jurassic Source Rocks
