This presentation outlines the objectives and responsibilities of the balance sheet risk management “triumvirate” of Treasury, Finance and Risk and the interaction between all three. It concludes with a recommendation of the optimum Treasury operating model for both vanilla commercial banking institutions and larger, multi-national and multi-product Group entities. The most effective operating models for Treasury are also identified.
