Subsurface radar location currently is the only measurement technique which is able to provide valuable information about the interior structure of celestial bodies of the Solar system. Numerical simulations plays a key role in the whole subsurface radar experiment, from its development and planning to the final data interpretation and analysis. These simulations typically are time and resource consuming, so high performance parallel computing systems are suitable platform for them. This paper briefly summarizes the tools and approaches developed by the author during past one and a half decades. The radar echo simulation approach on the multiple phase screen basis, developed by the author, is formulated and discussed. Applications to the Martian subsurface radar experiments MARSIS and SHARAD are shown.
