The problem of increasing the time until the destruction of the fiber composites produced for operation at temperatures above 1000oC is studied. This paper investigates the impact of the effect of breaking and pulling out fibers on the fiber composite long-term durability. In this paper we use the method for determining time to failure as a result of solving the evolution equation for the damage function. Evolution equation is taken in the form of energy. Particular attention is paid to energy dissipation during fiber pulling out. The limit value of the dissipation and its impact on the increased time to failure is determined.
