Lanthanide complexes attract the attention of researchers as potential candidates for the creation of monomolecular magnets, liquid crystals and storage devices due to their unique properties: anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility and saturation magnetization. Tb3+, Dy3+, Ho3+, Er3+, Tm3+ ions have the highest values of anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility and it is possible to create materials controlled by weak magnetic fields on their basis. We synthesized (2,2’-bipyridil)-tris(diethildithiocarbamate- S,S’)terbium(III) [Tb(Et2Dtc)3(bipy)] and (2,2’-bipyridil)-tris(diethil-dithiocarbamate- S,S’)dysprosium(III) [Dy(Et2Dtc)3(bipy)]
