In recent decades, the project of Transcontinental Bering Strait Railway has become one of the most discussed strategic programs designed to create a global network of railways. The idea is to connect Europe, Asia, and North America. The logic of this project corresponds to the plans formulated by the Government of the Russian Federation to develop Siberia and Russian Far East.
