We study the statistical properties of optical - terahertz biphotons generated by means of spontaneous parametric down-conversion. Numerical dependences of the second-order quantum correlation function were obtained depending on the frequency and temperature. Accounting current absence of sensitive terahertz photon-counting detectors and coincidence schemes, an experimental scheme for measuring the quantum correlations by analog detectors is proposed and investigated.
