In the marine seismic exploration, sources and receivers are all placed below the water-layerwhich is easy to produce ghost. Ghost is an unavoidable interference waves. It will immediately effect on subsequent seismic works, including the processing and interpretation. This study aims to handle the issue of deghosting in marine exploration. Based on inverse-scattering series theory, the Born approximation method is used to solve the Lippmann-Schwinger equation and we derived deghosting equations using inverse-scattering series algorithm, and realized this method in frequency-wavenumber-wavenumber domain. This deghosting method was tested effectively by processing hollow model data. The advantage of using this method to eliminate ghost reflection is that it does not require the prior information of underground media and can be applied to the case of complex seafloor.
