Аннотация доклада:
The case of Ivan Golunov, an investigative journalist, who was falsely accused of selling drugs and held in custody, shows vividly the conflicting agendas of state-owned TV channels and the new media in Russia. We used this case to show empirically how the agenda-setting process is performed by different communication channels.
