Retinal diseases are a common cause of irreversible blindness. Screening is critical in the detection of retinal diseases but is currently a resource-consuming task. This poster presentation demonstrates novel software, developed by Moscow State University, for automated recognition of retinal lesions in digital ocular images. This solution has the potential to increase patient compliance with screening as well as reduce costs and time compared to current best practices.
