Аннотация доклада:
The paper explores the Turkish model of humanitarian diplomacy. Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu first used the term humanitarian diplomacy to describe Turkey’s foreign policy and as a main theme of the Fifth Annual Ambassadors Conference in January 2013. Both the AKP and President Erdoğan often associate humanitarian diplomacy to the term “humanitarian foreign policy,” which is also used by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TİKA).
