We study the structure of caustics in dynamical systems with two degrees of freedom. Generalized Hénon-Heiles model is used for experiments. Results of numerical integration are compared with those obtained analytically by using a formal Gustavson-like integral of motion. We use the program LINA developed at JINR to construct a formal integral. This formal integral is used together with the hamiltonian of the system to study semi-analytically the evolution of caustics with changes of initial conditions and/or parameters of the model.
