Stoichiometric aluminum-magnesium spinel MgAl2O4 from SASOL Germany GmbH with Ssp = 23 m2/g was chosen as a carrier for Co-supported catalysts (CT) of Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) promoted with glucose. Two series of catalysts have been synthesized, differing in different ways of introducing glucose into the CT composition. The effect of layer-by-layer glucose coating N (N - 1, 5, 10 monolayers) of the CT surface was studied. It is shown that for a 10-layer glucose coating of the spinel surface (support), the dispersion of Co increases significantly, and insignificantly if the precursor is promoted.
