The article considers Google Doc as a streamline tool that seems to have become a time-saving reward for your students’ efforts. Fostering collaborative classroom activities on the topic of “Art revealing Personality. Life as a Work of Art” is the key topic under investigation. The pleasures and pains of classwork can easily be turned mostly to pleasures with this simple if not to say primitive technique which we could have afforded ourselves during our online activity during this most exceptionally extraordinary academic year. Google Doc is an increasingly popular technology with teachers and students. It is assumed that students and teachers can use these tools wherever they can, as they have an opportunity to contribute and include their ideas by working on the same document from different places or times. Starting from scrutinizing the text about Cedric Morris, an English gardener and a painter, students are provided with one of his painting for a detailed description of the flowers composition. Then their description is sent to another student whose task is to paint the copy of Morris’ masterpiece without seeing the picture but just reading the description of it. Additionally, students can be asked to guess a painting, comparing it with a short piece of description. What comes into mind on this level of the students’ work is CLIL methodology, when it is the topic itself that becomes predominant but not a foreign language. Intertwining with and emphasizing the content even deeper students can easily and quickly be absorbed by this flowering artistic environment and enjoy the article thoroughly, going beyond the mere material published, extending their views upon art and gardening as something not only typical of the English but really indispensable from their lives.
