Russia and China are experiencing a new phase of interaction that goes beyond bilateral relations. Both countries reflect on new global trends that aim to ensure security, expand military-political interaction, and enhance the two countries' security. However, both countries are proposing their integration projects, which may contradict each other. Russia is developing the idea of a Greater Eurasian Space, China is developing the "One Belt One Road" initiative; despite many statements about interaction, these political spaces have little overlap. However, Russia and China are brought together by a common desire to create China understood regional cooperation first and foremost in economic terms, but now it is talking more and more about the "common destiny of humankind. On the other hand, Russia initially talked about common values and joint projects of the Eurasian space.
