Modern telecom and enterprise networks consist of proprietary equipment, commonly, highly specialized on concrete network function (NAT, Firewall, IDS etc.). Network Function Virtualization (NFV) techniques separates network function logic from the hardware, which executes the first. There are several basic use cases for NFV. The first case focused on Telco needs, and implemented by network functions software for traffic analyzing, management and engineering. That network functions designed to replace hardware network appliance. The network function (NF) lifecycle is stage process, that means that each NF passed through deployed stage, initialization stage, configuration stage, execution stage and undeploying stage. In our Demo the NF lifecycle managing and orchestration in DC will be demonstration. On the poster there will be C2 Platform architecture presentation. Especially will be discussed the CloudGW module solution, that is aimed to provide an entry border point for traffic from end-users to a virtual DC infrastructure for further processing, depending on required NFs. We’d like to share the results of over NF instances overheads analysis and discuss our future plans.
