The new fold-thrust structure proved for the Tithonian-Campanian rocks of the northern part of the Algan terrane, where tectonically juxtaposed Tectonostratigraphy complexes formed in different tectonic setting. It has been proved that Albian-Late Cretaceous tuffaceous-terrigenous rocks were formed on the trench slope, simultaneously with the Okhotsk-Chukotka volcanic belt (OChVB). The Tithonian-Campanian volcanic- cherty rocks were formed in the deep-water and marginal-continental parts of the ocean. The complexes were combined during the formation of an accretionary prism in the frontal part of OChVB A new geodynamic model is proposed for the transition zone of the Asian continent and the Pacific plates for the Albian-Late Cretaceous that most of the terranes of the Koryak fold belt were separate from the Asian continent by an oceanic basin, fragments of which are exposed within the reconstructed wedge.
