Abstract. Based on herbarium material Epipactis papillosa Franch. et Sav. (MW) a comparative analysis of samples from different points of the species' range was carried out using molecular genetic methods. Internal transcribed spacers (ITS1 and ITS2) of the 18S–26S nuclear ribosomal DNA site were selected as a molecular marker. On the molecular phylogenetic tree, E. papillosa samples form a subclades (A) in clade I with a high a posteriori probability (1.0). ITS sequences of analyzed samples are identical. Despite some morphological differences of the studied E. papillosa plants and the remoteness of their growing places, they turned out to be genetically homogeneous.
