Аннотация доклада:
The generation of terahertz radiation based on optical rectification in DAST crystal pumped by mid-infrared radiation generated via optical parametric amplification is experimentally demonstrated. Possibility of increasing the optical-to-terahertz conversion efficiency was theoretically studied and it was shown that increase in the conversion efficiency up to 3.6% can be achieved by chirping the femtosecond mid-IR pulses up to 200 fs.
