Globalization is aimed at ensuring greater freedom of movement. It creates a world in which everything tends to homogeneity, unitarity – universalization. Westernization, in turn, led to the creation of a global model of the world from a western point of view. A number of authors, including Alexander Panarin and Ulrich Beck, closely link westernization, understood as globalism, and globalization. However, globalization is not only a phenomenon, but also a concept, it should be noted that «risk» (in Beck's narrative) and «globalization» are actually sides of the same phenomenon. Both of them challenge and overturn the role of governments, on the one hand, and the role of various social actors, on the other hand.
