The principles of optimum architecture for the multiterawatt СО2 laser system are considered. The effect of amplifiers’ parameters, amplification conditions (pulse energy density, beam expansion), and also the center frequency and chirping of a seed pulse to the output pulse is determined by the numerical modeling. Possible advantages of a pulsed chemical DF-CO2 laser as the final amplifier over the TE CO2 laser are shown. Both the dynamics of noise evolution over a chain of amplifiers and the output pulse contrast are determined.
