Automatic calibration is a procedure which recalculates the numerical output channel contents of a measuring device into the corresponding physical values (energies) with the minimal participation of the psysicist. If it is dealt with manually, it is a labor- and time-consuming procedure especially in the case of multidetector systems. However, being of a great importance for the success of an experiment the problem of the calibration automatization belongs to the least elaborated fields of the applied mathematics. The situation here is aggravated by the fact that needed pivotal channel numbers should be determined from peak-like distributions. But peak distribution is an informal pattern so that a procedure of pattern recognition should be employed to discard the operator interference.\\ The report suggests an approach to solve this problem. It will be used in the JINR FLNR planned experiments with ^{48}CA projectiles on the DSSSD detectors of the DGFRS. XXIV International Symposium on Nuclear Electronics and Computing
