Detective stories are often based on the principle that convincing evidence is eventually of no importance. The detective usually reaches the solution to the problem by means of logical interpretation and thorough examination of the clues. Detective stories are full of professionalisms, jargonisms , legal terms to indicate the peculiarities of the subject dealt with( undiscovered and unpunished crimes, unjustified suspicion, unimpeachable alibi, a scheme of blackmail and terrorization, a cold-blooded murder, get off scot-free, treachery and misrepresentation, rifled safe). It makes these stories worse reading for future lawyers.
