Аннотация доклада:
The report presents the latest achievements of atomic force and scanning capillary microscopy in the study of proteins, DNA, RNA, viruses, bacteria and living cells. Issues of bacterial antibiotic resistance, genetic modification, development of vector vaccines, etc. are touched upon. Scanning capillary microscopy has become a practical tool for in-situ visualization of living cells of higher organisms, assessing the effect of biochemical reagents on cell morphology, and measuring reactive oxygen species near and inside cells.
