The dialectics of mutual influence between language, culture, and globalisation processes have been a subject of intense study in various disciplines, including linguistics, anthropology, and sociology. This article aims to provide an overview of the complex interplay between these factors, with examples and references to support the analysis. More than that it argues that globalisation processes exert significant influence on language and culture, while language and culture, in turn, shape globalisation in complex ways. The overall results showed that globalisation often leads to the homogenisation of language and culture. At the same time, local languages and cultures also exert significant influence on the global stage. The complex interplay between these factors shapes the contemporary world in profound ways, and it is essential for policymakers, editors of various journals and newspapers, educators, and last, but by no means least – scholars, to understand these dynamics in order to navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by globalisation itself.
