The purpose of this study is to investigate how the conceptual framework of 'The British Identity' is portrayed in political discourse as well as how it adapts to the author's demands in contemporary British media. To be more precise, how it evolves to respond to meet the demands of UK politicians in order successfully accomplish particular objectives, while simultaneously taking into consideration the specific activity of those pertinent linguistic units in the articles of the most renowned British newspaper, 'The Guardian,' with a focus on the execution of evaluative features at the level of language. The findings of the research reveal that the content specificity of the concept of 'British Identity,' which acts as a political and cultural notion in some circumstances, evokes equivocal perceptions and judgements in various ideological contexts, particularly in the political media.
