At high wind speeds, a large amount of sea aerosol is formed, containing droplets of sea spray of various sizes and formation mechanisms. The presence of these drop-lets changes the state of the air-sea interface in the sea surface boundary layer, affecting the processes of mo-mentum and heat exchange between air and sea and changing the drag coefficients of the sea surface. Accu-rate description of air-sea interaction processes is im-portant for improving the forecast of the development of severe storm systems. Today in the atmosphere and wave models the ex-change coefficients for momentum, CD, don't consider the influence of sea aerosol at high wind speeds. Additionally, the spray generation function can also be taken into account in emission and aerosol transport models.
